Our tiles are carefully designed so that dirt does not stick to them. Rain will generally take care of the cleaning, unless there is an exceptional level of pollution.
Can the tiles be destroyed by hail?
Our solar tiles are deigned to withstand heavy hail storms. In accordance with the IEC standard, their special tempered glass coating is tested by bombarding it with balls of ice measuring between 7cm and 12cm with speeds on impact of up to 140km/h. Your installation is therefore in no danger, except in truly exceptional conditions.
What happens if there is no sun?
If it is dark, it is very simple – your installation will not produce anything. If the sky is cloudy, its production will depend on the amount of daylight available. The brighter the day, the more it will produce.
What is the lifespan of a tile?
The lifespan of a photovoltaic tile is more than 30 years.
